Barcelona star Pedri has compared himself to club legend Andrés Iniesta.
The Spain international said he plays in a similar position to Iniesta.
According to him, he has watched a lot of Iniesta’s videos, adding that it’s difficult to replicate him.
The 22-year-old has already become a mainstay in both the Barcelona midfield and the Spanish national team.
His creativity, playmaking, vision, and intelligence on the ball have earned him comparisons to Iniesta.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper El País in a recent interview, Pedri said:
“There are always comparisons. We play in a similar position, we have the No. 8 shirt.
I have seen many of his videos, and it’s very difficult to do what Andrés did.”
